FINANCE & ACCOUNTING SR. MANAGER (FAM)

Reporting to a dedicated COO & Corporate Finance Director, the successful candidate will manage the day to day as Finance & Accounting Manager with following responsibilities:
• Plans, directs, organizes and schedules the activities of Finance & Accounting functions
• Interprets various accounting data, analyzes reports and recommends and/or initiates actions to be taken
• Ensure that financial statements, cash flows, and budgets are prepared in an accurate and timely manner
• Verify & finalize daily journal entries
• Verify cash / bank reconciliation result
• Review/prepare corporate tax reports
• Review/prepare company’s financial performance
• Solve problem, create procedures and continually improve internal system to ensure its effectiveness
• Coordinate with the external auditors and all other relevant government authorities
• Assist on other financial matters such as budgeting and forecasting etc
• Cooperate with team of accountants responsible
• Advising Ship Owner of the shortfall and follow-up where necessary
• Prepare payroll calculation, tax calculation / PPH 21 and Jamsostek reporting

Requirement (Must!) :
• MINIMUM S1 graduated (Bachelor degree) from a leading university with minimum GPA 3.00
• MINIMUM 8  years experience in FINANCE & ACCOUNTING
• Willing to be located in BATAM, KEPULAUAN RIAU
• Good knowledge in TAX and AP
• Self-motivated, initiative and able to work independently
• Have a strong ANALYTICAL SKILLS
• High level of accuracy precision & responsibility in a work assigned
• Have a high spirit & self motivated
• Able to work in a team & under pressure condition
• Fluent in English both oral & written

Main Responsibilities:
• Run AUTO DN Report and consolidate ship plan list from planners
• Prepare daily ship plan for subsequent day of shipment execution
• Prepare Invoice & Packing List for Export
• Submit documents to custom broker (BIIE) & Freight Forwarder (TOLL Logistics)
• Prepare Import Plan & submit to FTZ Committee for approval *
• Review and sign off Customs Declaration prepared by custom broker
• Customs Clearance - Hand carry Shipment (Import)
• Customs Clearance - Hand carry Shipment (Export)
• Customs Clearance - Hand carry Shipment (Vendor Tools)
• Prepare & submit  Customs Duty Levy documents (PNBP)
• Prepare & submit  Import Metrics to Honeywell Corporate
• Prepare & submit  Import Realization to Customs & FTZ Committee
• Update BC# in the system
• Renewal Normal Import, Export Import Handcarry License to FTZ Committee
• Response to Customs Officer on any customs clearance issue/query
• Attending seminar/ training by government agency with regard to export import/customs clearance procedure
• Maintain record keeping document – customs declaration, permit etc
• Order Packing Materials & generate EBP SAP for approval
• Prepare for Corporate Customs Compliance Audit  and Indonesian Customs Audit

Additional Responsibilities:
• Create DN based on shipment plan
• Edit DN & Print DN
• Create & Confirm TO from the DN
• Process Express Shipment booking in UPS webplan
• Create shipment and print Commercial Invoice
• Print labels & perform GI
• Prepare Dangerous Goods shipment declaration
• Arrange with UPS SCS and UPS Express on cargo collection
• Processing Material Pull

Requirements:
• Indonesia Custom Regulation - both within and outside of Bintan Free Trade Zone;
• Diploma/Degree holder in any discipline;
• At least 2-3 years of  Indonesia Import & Export related  experience preferred;
